Patrick Murphy smiled when he looked outside. Thursday may have been rainy, but he knew that Friday's field would be no less than perfect for game time.
With the weather set to be perfect for a softball game, the Crimson Tide will host the Easton Crimson Classic, welcoming Louisiana-Monroe, North Dakota State and DePaul to Rhodes Stadium. The three-day lineup includes five games.
With only seven days left before Alabama will face SEC foe LSU, Murphy hopes this weekend’s games will prepare the team for the long stretch ahead.
“This weekend, obviously our goal is to win every game, that’s kind of the unwritten goal,” Murphy said.
