ICYMI: Crimson Tide Breaks Out the Brooms to Sweep Arkansas
Things didn’t go the way Alabama softball fans wanted them to go during the SEC Tournament (we still love them, though), but it’s time for the NCAA Tournament and The Road to Oklahoma City for the Women’s College World Series.
It was announced Sunday on ESPNU that the Alabama Crimson Tide is the number six seed overall for the NCAA Tourney, which means Coach Patrick Murphy’s squad will host an NCAA Regional in the friendly confines of Rhoads Stadium.
Only two other Southeastern Conference teams came in with national seeds higher than the Crimson Tide and they both have conference titles to show for it.
