FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. | After two high-scoring wins to open the series, offense was at a premium in the weekend finale against Arkansas as a seventh-inning RBI single by Danae Hays was all Alabama needed to win, 1-0, and secure the series sweep.
Alabama (41-11, 17-7 SEC) and Arkansas (16-37, 1-23 SEC) tallied only a combined five hits throughout the first six innings before the Crimson Tide strung together three hits in the seventh inning that ultimately allowed Hays to drive in Marisa Runyon for the lone run.
