CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Junior Lacey Clarida tallied a goal early in the second half to lift the Alabama soccer team to a 1-0 victory over the Chattanooga Mocs (1-3) on Sunday afternoon at the Finley Stadium in Chattanooga, Tenn. Today’s win marks the third time this season that the Crimson Tide has produced a shutout.
Alabama improves to an overall 4-0 record with today’s win, marking just the second time in 15 years that the Tide has won at least four games to begin a season (5-0 in 2012).
In the first half, Alabama led in shots (12-1) and shots on goal (3-1).
