The Alabama soccer team fell to the Mississippi State Bulldogs, 2-1, in the Crimson Tide’s final home match of the 2015 season. The Tide will play in one more game before closing out its 2015 season, the first under head coach Wes Hart.
Alabama outshot Mississippi State with a season-high 30 shots compared to MSU’s 11, but was unable to come away with the victory. The Bulldogs would strike first, but the Crimson Tide bounced back to even things up before State would score the eventual game winner with just over 10 minutes remaining in the game. Going on the attack in the final 10 minutes, Alabama put together five shot attempts off two corners and six shot attempts overall but could not score the equalizer.
