What I’m about to propose will be wildly unpopular, but may save Alabama’s season. For weeks now, the conversation over starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s knee injury has been front and center among Alabama fans.
I have the solution, and even though it may involve an Alabama loss to rival Auburn, the payoff may just be worth it.
On Saturday against Mississippi State, Tagovailoa limped off the field in pain once again having reaggravated his strained knee. The knee has given Tua problems for weeks. Evidence of this could be seen in his touchdown run against LSU and after being helped off the field following the fourth sack of the game he suffered against MSU.
