Alabama second-year players generating most buzz to make bigger impact this spring

Multiple second-year Alabama football players look to be on pace to have bigger impacts in year two in Tuscaloosa.

Here is a look at the second-year Alabama players pushing the most conversations to step up:

Jeremiah Beaman

The Beaman praise this spring has been loud and clear from multiple people. Tim Keenan, Kane Wommack and Geno VanDeMark have all praised Beaman’s growth this spring. VanDeMark, who is competing to be the Tide’s left guard this spring describes Beaman and Hill as looking totally different.

“Beaman and Edric, they look a lot different,” VanDeMark said. “They’re playing a lot different, faster, more physical, just better defensive lineman than they were previously, and they’re giving us some trouble.
