At times on Saturday, DeVonta Smith was catching passes from Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa.
Other times, he was defending them.
The sophomore's primary position is still wide receiver, but he continues to get reps on defense as well as Alabama heads into week three of spring practice.
By all accounts, he's looking very good at both positions and continues to establish himself as one of the Crimson Tide's top young players.
"When you get to this level, you very rarely see guys play both sides of the ball, but seeing him practice and do things on both sides is pretty impressive," running back Damien Harris said.
