Alabama reclaims No. 1 spot in the AP Top 25 following Arkansas win

After being listed as the No. 2 team in the nation following a narrow win on the road against Texas, Alabama is back on top of the AP Top 25 rankings.

The Crimson Tide went on the road and defeated the then No. 20 ranked Arkansas Razorbacks 49-26. Alabama was able to secure the victory without Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Bryce Young who was knocked out of the game in the second quarter with a shoulder injury.

Following the game, Nick Saban shared that the team believes Young’s injury is considered to be nonserious and will be evaluated on a day-to-day basis.
