Trey Sanders is not letting anything distract him or his team from winning a national championship.
A native of Port Saint Joe, Fla., the former five-star running back is still rehabbing from injuries he sustained in a car accident during Alabama’s regular season. His head coach, Nick Saban, and his teammates were very thankful he was okay, but his injuries forced him to miss the remainder of the year. Prior to the incident, Sanders was starting to show off his marquee talents.
He replaced Brian Robinson in a matchup against Mississippi State and totaled 80 yards rushing on 12 carries.
