Some players like to listen to certain music before a game. A young Harris had to watch a certain movie.
For two or three years, Harris watched "Remember the Titans" before every game. Usually, he'd wake up early and watch it the morning of the game. Other times, it would be the last thing he did on Friday night.
It was his special, necessary pre-game ritual.
Harris had just started playing football and at first didn't enjoy it. He complained a lot, constantly fussed about his helmet being too small and spent much of the early part of that season sitting on the bench and drinking water.
