Nick Saban has a theory because this has happened before.
The Alabama coach positions himself behind the offense on A-Day, well away from the action. Sometimes, though, it comes to him.
It happened again Saturday.
Redshirt freshman Blake Barnett was buying time, scrambling around deeper and deeper in the pocket. Turning a corner to avoid the pressure, the quarterback saw blue. There stood Saban in his 2016 A-Day blazer.
"I think that on occasion – more than on occasion – when there's a scramble," Saban said, "everybody seems to get attracted to me."
That's because it's happened before.
