Alabama high school quarterbacks shined during Day 2 of The Opening, at least in the evening Showcase.
The event -- open to the public and televised on YouTube -- featured various skills competition, starting with a QB Long Toss competition that involved the 12 quarterbacks at the four-day recruiting event in Frisco, Texas.
Pinson Valley quarterback and Auburn commit Bo Nix opened the competition with a 64-yard throw. Several other quarterbacks' throws then failed to fly 60 yards -- until it was Thompson quarterback and Alabama commit Taulia Tagovailoa's turn.
