One of college football’s brightest stars added his name to the ever growing list of student-athletes positioning themselves to profit off their name, image and likeness.
Alabama’s expected starting quarterback Bryce Young announced on Twitter he has signed a partnership with Cash App.
Young’s announcement came just hours after the reports of the California native signing with talent and sports agency CAA to help handle his NIL deals.
Ahead of the new NIL protocols going into effect, Alabama Athletics shared its own protocols to help its student-athletes know what deals they can make:
- Employees of The University of Alabama may not compensate or arrange any compensation deals to a current or prospective student-athlete for his or her name, image or likeness.
