As far as quarterbacks with remaining collegiate eligibility, the picture is less clear. Auburn coach Gus Malzahn has refused to name a starting quarterback, and the Crimson Tide could be waiting until kickoff to know whether Jeremy Johnson or Sean White will go under center for the Tigers.
“I know for us, it doesn’t really matter who they put behind center,” cornerback Cyrus Jones said. “We know what kind of playcaller Gus Malzahn is: he’s aggressive.
