Alabama practiced Friday afternoon, working outside on a beautiful 80-degree day in Tuscaloosa.
Here are some notes from a brief media viewing period:
-- Alabama is holding its annual coaches clinic this weekend, and at least 1,000 high school coaches were outside for practice.
-- It didn't seem like there were any players missing aside from the ones you'd expect. Players like offensive lineman Matt Womack, running back Josh Jacobs and wide receiver Jerry Jeudy were off to the side in black non-contact jerseys. Nick Saban said Friday that Jeudy (knee) and fellow receiver Tyrell Shavers will both miss the rest of the spring.
