Under clear skies and with the temperature 93 degrees, Alabama headed indoors to continue preparations for its opener against Louisville on Saturday. It was an interesting move considering the game will be played in an open-air stadium.
The team was in full pads while inside the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility. Here are some observations from the limited access period provided to the media:
-- As is often the case, Alabama worked on its dime package on Wednesday. Trevor Diggs and Saivion Smith were the outside cornerbacks. Mack Wilson was the linebacker. Shyheim Carter was at Star and Xavier McKinney was at Money with Jared Mayden and Deionte Thompson working at safety.
