Alabama went through its first practice of game week on Monday.
Here are some notes from the media viewing period:
-- Defensive lineman Raekwon Davis, who is recovering from a minor gunshot wound, wasn't present for practice. "What his status is moving forward will be a medical decision, not something we can really comment on here," coach Nick Saban said earlier Monday.
-- Running back Josh Jacobs, who is working back from a hamstring injury, was going through drills. Saban referred to Jacobs earlier Monday as "day-to-day" and said he should know mid-week whether Jacobs will be available Saturday against Florida State.
