Alabama went through its first practice of Missouri week Monday afternoon, working outside on a 90-degree day in Tuscaloosa.
Here are a couple notes from what was a very brief media viewing period:
-- With Trevon Diggs out, the cornerback group during drills was Saivion Smith first and then Patrick Surtain, Josh Jobe, Nigel Knott and D.J. Lewis. Diggs, who suffered a broken foot against Arkansas, is out indefinitely.
-- Reserve tight end Kedrick James wasn't practicing. James has a high ankle sprain.
-- Defensive back Shyheim Carter is still sporting that large club-looking wrap on his right hand.
