On Thursday, inside the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility, Alabama staged its penultimate practice before it disbands for a holiday break. The Crimson Tide went through drills in full pads as it continued preparations for its College Football Playoff semifinal game against Clemson.
Here are some observations from limited access period provided to the media:
-- LaBryan Ray, who was sporting a black jersey, was on the field and working with the defensive line. He had previously been restricted to an exercise bike on the sideline. Ray suffered a broken foot last month.
-- Tight end Miller Forristall (knee), offensive lineman Brandon Kennedy (leg) and defensive back Nigel Knott (leg) continued to be confined to the exercise bike and remained in black jerseys.
