The fact that Tennessee's former head coach is now on the Alabama staff has sort of flown under the radar this week.
It's almost nothing new with Lane Kiffin trading sides and almost Alabama lifer Jeremy Pruitt now coaching the Vols. The fact that Butch Jones, the Tennessee coach from 2013-17, is an analyst on Alabama's staff isn't lost on everyone in the football complex.
Running back Josh Jacobs chuckled when he was asked about Jones on Tuesday.
"We kind of joke with him," he said, "about the whole situation."
That was the set up.
