Alabama returned to old-school football in the Cotton Bowl versus Cincinnati.
Brian Robinson rushed for 204 yards – the most by any Crimson Tide running back in a bowl matchup.
The Crimson Tide totaled 301 yards rushing on 47 carries, netting an average of 6.4 yards per rushing attempt. Bryce Young did not need a Heisman performance, but he tossed three touchdown passes. Young is Alabama’s single-season leader for passing yards (4,503) and touchdowns (46). The Tide recorded 482 yards offensively on one of the best defensive teams nationally, and its defense shut down one of the best offenses in college football.
