Chris Owens had a big impact on Alabama football in 2020.
He served at multiple spots on the offensive line, including center, and helped the Crimson Tide capture a College Football Playoff National Championship. Regardless of the global pandemic and social justice issues, Owens used his voice to create change and foster a more unified campus at the University of Alabama. When the Tide lost Landon Dickerson to a knee injury in the Southeastern Conference Championship Game, Owens emerged and operated the front versus Notre Dame and Ohio State.
A native of Arlington, Texas, Owens came to Alabama as a four-star in 2016 from Lamar High School.
