Alabama has offered Hewitt-Trussville 2019 quarterback Paul Tyson, the great-grandson of Paul "Bear" Bryant.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound Tyson is rated four stars and the No. 6 junior, pro-style quarterback in the nation by the 247 Sports Composite. His other offers include Clemson, Note Dame, USC, Oregon and Wisconsin.
Tyson completed 238-of-336 passes for 3,392 yards and 36 touchdowns against only four interceptions in 12 games this past season. He threw for 409 yards, three touchdowns and a pick against eventual state champ Hoover in a Class 7A quarterfinal loss.
