Isaiah Horton is one of Alabama football’s latest transfer portal additions, and he is expected to make an immediate impact in Tuscaloosa.
Horton has caught seven passes for 790 yards and seven touchdowns during his three years of playing college football. The Crimson Tide officially announced the addition of Horton on Jan. 23.
Alabama’s offensive coordinator Nick Sheridan highlighted what the Tide is looking to get out of the Miami transfer on Friday.
“I mean obviously you’re looking for a variety of skill sets at that position,” Sheridan told reporters. “You know certainly catch radius is always something and different guys present that skill different ways but guys that can separate and get open in their own unique style guys that can make contested catches guys that can do something with the football whether you’re big or small.
