Scott Frost was the first victim of the 2022 college football season as he was relieved of his duties from Nebraska following its loss to Georgia Southern.
Now 10 days later, the Huskers’ coaching search is beginning to rally names together to see who will be the next in line to take over the program.
There’s still a ton of time between now and when a decision must be made, but the athletic department has a few names at the top of its coaching list with one being Alabama offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien.
It was reported by The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman, that O’Brien is one of three coaches at the top of the program’s wish list.
