DALLAS | It was a Connor Cook love fest.
The Michigan State senior quarterback received heaps and heaps of praise from University of Alabama defenders and their coach, defensive coordinator Kirby Smart.
Cook owned the day Monday at the Cotton Bowl news conference, drawing a large contingent of reporters who crowded around the star quarterback, eating up his every word.
Alabama likened Cook to two NFL star quarterbacks and doled out compliments.
The most effusive praise came from Smart, who said Cook can do it all.
“First of all, he’s one of the best decision-makers, most accurate and great arm strength,” Smart said.
