New Orleans running back Mark Ingram suffered a concussion in the Saints' previous game, was a limited participant in practice during the week and had to be released from the NFL's concussion protocol just to play on Sunday.
Ingram received clearance to play and turned in one of the most productive games of his NFL career in New Orleans' 49-21 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.
Ingram ran for 146 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries and caught a 21-yard touchdown pass. Ingram's yardage total was the third-highest of his career, behind 172 yards against the Green Bay Packers in 2014 and 158 against the San Francisco 49ers on Nov.
