It’s officially LSU week, as the University of Alabama football program enjoyed a bye week by getting as healthy as possible
and taking a mental break. But before the Crimson Tide gears up for its final four regular-season games, let’s examine the
performance through a 7-1 start:
RUNNING BACKS
Grade: B+
It’s hard to be anything other than complimentary of what junior running back Derrick Henry’s done in eight games. The 6-foot-3, 242-pound jumbo back is second in the SEC in rushing (130.5 yards per game), behind only Leonard Fournette (193.14).
Under coach Nick Saban, UA usually utilizes a two-back system, but that really hasn’t materialized as much as in years past.
