“We are looking forward to playing a quality team such as Oregon, but we are even more thrilled for the opportunity to play in front of our fans in Birmingham at Legacy Arena,” Johnson said. “This is something that will be exciting for the University of Alabama fan base, our players and our staff. It’s been five years since an Alabama men’s basketball team has played in Birmingham, so this is something we hope to continue to do on a yearly basis.”
The event, presented by the Knight-Eady Sports Group, will mark the Crimson Tide’s first appearance in Birmingham since facing Oklahoma State in 2011.
