Alabama Men’s Basketball Shuts Down Norfolk State, 68-49

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men’s basketball team started the new year with a 68-49 win over Norfolk State on Saturday afternoon at Coleman Coliseum in its final non-conference game of the regular season. The Crimson Tide held the Spartans to just 25 percent shooting over the second half to take control of the game.

Senior guard Retin Obasohan finished matched his career high, going for a game-high 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting from the floor and 3-of-6 from beyond the arc. The Antwerp, Belgium, native had a season-high four steals as he recorded third 20-point game of the season.
