TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Less than 48 hours after opening the 2016 SEC slate at Ole Miss, Alabama will play its first home league contest of the year when it hosts No. 9/8 Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday at 5 p.m. CT. It will mark the first of two consecutive games vs. ranked opponents for the Tide, and is the fourth top-25 team the Tide has faced this season (2-1 in such games).
Alabama lost for just the second time in its last nine games as the Tide fell at Ole Miss, 74-66, in its Southeastern Conference openeer on Thursday night.
