TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama will take on its second straight ranked opponent in SEC play as the Tide hosts No. 19/15 South Carolina Gamecocks on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 8 p.m. CT. It will mark the first of two games this month played between the teams, as the Tide will play at South Carolina on Saturday, Jan. 30.
Alabama dropped its second consecutive game as the Tide fell to then-No. 9/8 Kentucky, 77-61, in its Southeastern Conference home opener on Saturday night. Retin Obasohan recorded his third straight game of more than 20 points, going for 21 in the losing effort.
