TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men’s basketball program and head coach Avery Johnson hosted a special reunion for all former players, coaches and staff members over the weekend. More than 80 members of the Crimson Tide men’s basketball family attended the unique event, and were treated to a variety of activities during the two days in Tuscaloosa.
The event was part of an effort to reunite former UA basketball alums with the current program’s players and staff members. Among the attendees were Keith Askins, Melvin Cheatum, Jim Farmer, Wendell Hudson, Buck Johnson, Derrick McKey, Terrance Meade, Mike Nordholz, Bryan Passink, Eddie Phillips, Wimp Sanderson, Andrew Steele, Gary Waites, Eric Washington, Ennis Whatley and Brian Williams, along with many others.
