TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama earned a No. 5 seed in the 2016 National Invitation Tournament and will travel to Omaha, Neb., to take on the No. 4 seed Creighton Bluejays on Tuesday night in the opening round of the event. The Tide and the Bluejays will tip off at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN.
This will mark the second meeting in series history between Creighton and Alabama. The only other meeting came in the 2012 NCAA Tournament second round contest in Greensboro, N.C. In that contest, the ninth-seeded Crimson Tide fell to the No. 8 seed Bluejays, 58-57.
