NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Alabama men’s basketball team fell to No. 16 Kentucky, 85-59, on Friday night in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament. The Tide entered the tournament as the No. 10 seed and defeated seventh-seeded Ole Miss on Thursday night, but could not overcome the Wildcats’ hot shooting from beyond the arc en route to the defeat.
Senior guard Arthur Edwards finished the night 7-of-12 from the field and 6-of-10 from beyond the arc, as he led the Tide with a career-high 20 points. Senior guard Retin Obasohan finished with 18 points – 17 coming in the second half alone.
