NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Alabama men’s basketball team dropped Saturday’s game at Vanderbilt, 71-63. The Tide connected on just 7-of-20 free throws (32 percent) and 6-of-20 (32 percent) from beyond the arc en route to its 12th loss in its last 13 contests at Memorial Gymnasium.
Alabama (10-6, 1-3 SEC) kept the game close through the first half. After falling behind early, the Tide used a 6-0 run to tie the game at 14-14 with 9:45 on the clock. Vanderbilt (10-7, 2-3 SEC) immediately answered with an 8-0 run of its own to take a 23-16 lead.
