A top linebacker currently committed to Alabama may end up at Tennessee, but it's also possible that a highly-ranked linebacker currently committed to the Vols could wind up signing with the Crimson Tide.
Alabama has continued to aggressively pursue four-star Georgia linebacker JJ Peterson. And it's unclear, even to at least some close to Peterson, whether the top-50 recruit is going to stick with the commitment to Tennessee or sign with the Tide.
"Alabama has made a very strong push," said Rush Propst, Peterson's coach at Colquitt County High School. "I don't think either one, Alabama or Tennessee, is a clear favorite as of Sunday afternoon.
