Alabama’s depth on the offensive line took a slight hit on Friday, as Scott Lashley has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal. News first came from Matt Zenitz of AL.com, as the native Mississippian will enter his redshirt senior year next fall.
Lashley, a four-star in the 2016 signing class, has his degree and would immediately be eligible to play for another school.
The 6-foot-7, 307-pounder redshirted his initial freshman year and has served as a reserve right tackle in 19 career games.
Lashley saw 136 snaps at the position in 2018 and 2019 combined, and was part of two Southeastern Conference title teams (2016, 2018) and a College Football Playoff National Championship roster in 2017.
