Before stepping to the podium to address the A-Day crowd gathered at Denny Chimes, Shaun Dion Hamilton was introduced by Eli Gold.
The quick bio touched on the 2017 captain's accomplishments while also noting the injuries that ended his last two Alabama seasons prematurely. The two frustrating knee problems had a carry-over impact on the Montgomery product's NFL draft status.
Hamilton doesn't care about that.
"I know that I'm better than where I'm going to get drafted at," Hamilton said Saturday, less than a week before the draft starts in Dallas. "Everybody knows what kind of player I am.
