Blogging the Draft, best known for its excellent NCAA Tourney coverage, has a fantastic primer on the Advocare Invitational, which features NCAA Tourney mainstays Dayton, Notre Dame, Wichita State, Xavier and Iowa among others.
No one expects Alabama to win this invitational; this is going to be a (re)building season (moreso if there are academic casualties among the newcomers,) but, the tournament will be a good opportunity to measure up against some big boys, and see how Coach Johnson's team competes against some deeper marquee programs.
