Alabama has hired former UAB quarterback Mike Miller as a graduate assistant, FootballScoop reported Sunday.
Miller, per his Twitter account, will work with the Crimson Tide quarterbacks and wide receivers.
The 26-year-old Miller joins the Alabama staff after previously working as a student assistant coach at Clemson in 2015. Former Crimson Tide quarterback Jay Barker helped him land the opportunity.
This past season, he was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Charlotte (N.C.) Christian School.
Miller was a walk-on quarterback at UAB, who earned a scholarship and was a member of the team for three seasons from 2011-13.
