Alabama Gymnastics had an important meet last Friday night in Coleman Coliseum. The No. 3 ranked Florida Gators were the opponent. The No. 6 ranked Tide needed an upset to even the season record at 3-3.
More importantly, the meet was another dedicated Power of Pink night. Legendary Alabama coach Sarah Patterson started Power of Pink programs in 2004 to highlight the ongoing battle against breast cancer. Patterson, known by many in the Tuscaloosa community as “the Pink Lady” has partnered with the DCH Regional Medical Center for the DCH Breast Cancer Fund.
