After dropping its first meet of the 2018 season on the road to Michigan, Alabama Gymnastics stormed back Friday night. The Crimson Tide took down the Georgia GymDogs,196.525-194.525. The Alabama Gymnastics team was led by senior Kiana Winston who won three individual events: balance beam; uneven bars and the floor exercise. Sophomore Wynter Childers was the individual all-around winner with a 39.325 score.
Georgia is an SEC Gymnastics blue-blood, having won the SEC title a record 16 times. The GymDogs were last SEC champions in 2008. In total number of league titles, Florida as 10, Alabama has nine and LSU has two.
