The Alabama golf women’s team lit up the Greystone Club in the final round of the SEC Championship Tournament. The Tide women shot a team score of 13-under par Sunday. The Tide’s team score of 275 was the lowest round of the tournament, topping SEC Champion Florida’s best round by five shots.
Alabama finished a distant second to Florida for the SEC Championship. The Tide stumbled in Friday’s opening round, posting a team score of 7-over par. Friday’s scoring deficit was too much to overcome in a 54 hole stroke play event.
Cheyenne Knight led the Tide on Sunday, posting a 6-under, 66 score.
