The Alabama golf team had its second round delayed by weather for four hours on Tuesday. The delay was no doubt stressful, but not near as stressful as the Tide’s second round struggles.
With 18 more holes to play Wednesday, the Alabama golf, men’s team must hold on to fifth place to advance to the NCAA Finals. The top two teams after the second round are virtually assured of advancing
USC sits at No. 1 with a 5-under team score. At No. 2 is Florida State with a team score of 2-under par.
The teams fighting out for the next three qualifying slots are Kent State, Penn State, Alabama, Washington, Texas A&M and San Diego State.
