Alabama going through evaluation process at punt returner

Nick Saban isn't ready to say which of his players will return punts against LSU next week.

Xavian Marks stepped in as Alabama's punt returner against Tennessee on Saturday after Henry Ruggs and Trevon Diggs muffed three punts vs. Arkansas. But while there were some positives from Marks like a long return that was negated by a penalty, he also muffed a punt and later had a fumble that was recovered by the Vols.

It's possible Saban could go back to Ruggs or Diggs against LSU. He could stick with Marks. It's also possible he could go to someone like star defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick, who takes reps with the punt returners during practice.
