Alabama signed three talented running backs in its 2020 class and one is already showing excitement about being part of the program. While Jase McClellan and Roydell Williams are both four-stars, Kyle Edwards took to Twitter on Sunday to say he’s ready for Tuscaloosa.
A four-star recruit from Louisiana, Edwards totaled over 1,000 yards rushing with 16 touchdowns as a senior at Destrehan (La.) High School. The 6-foot, 205-pounder helped the Wildcats win a Class 5A state championship in 2019.
During his junior campaign in 2018, Edwards recorded 708 yards with eight scores on 112 carries – en route to pacing Destrehan to the District 7-5A state championship.
