Alabama football was expected to easily handle Mercer this week. They absolutely took care of the Bears, but it may not have been the complete game that many expected. It seems like Nick Saban had some legitimate gripes about how his team was practicing earlier this week.
They got the win, but will Alabama football hold onto the top spot in this week’s top 25 power rankings. It was yet another wild week to start the 2021 college football season. It started with a big upset as Ohio State was taken down, for the first time ever, by the Oregon Ducks, and it ended with more upsets.
