Across the domain of SEC football, they are coaches striving to usurp the reign of Alabama football coach, Nick Saban. Some rival fanbases are delusional enough to believe the end of the Saban-era is near. Because Nick is mortal, an end will come. Based on SEC football coaching history, before Saban’s legacy dims, most of the current other 13 SEC coaches will have failed.
Mathematically, odds seem to favor the post-Saban king of SEC football to be a member of the Saban coaching tree. But maybe not, if Alabama football just begins another dynastic era with someone like Dabo after Saban.
